Some of you may know I'm working on English translations of some Japanese AV sites. If you have any site suggestions, please email me the URLs.

Nope. I don't speak Japanese, I'm using automated translation then trying to make sense of the gibberish.

Fred, this sounds cool! I've done something similar now and again for my own use, but nothing as ambitious as what you seem to be up to. If I come across a decent site, I'll forward it. Good luck!

Just one note, though: Are you aware that in Japanese, "AV" is the abbreviation given to "Adult Video"? So that "some Japanese AV sites" is probably not the connotation you're imagining?

Oh, heh, well, I guess you're correct. A/V, how's that?

Thanks, I'd appreciate any good links.

I've decided to wait and post things when they're almost complete instead of a bit at a time.

thanks

Well, it started out as AviSynth translation. The reason I posted here is because there's a greater chance of appropriate links surfacing. If the thread is in General, um, not as many people who will directly benefit from the translations will see it.

I've just picked up another 80M of webspace so all this stuff will go in one home.

Whoa, that second one has some pretty nice stuff on DV.
