Hey there. Well, I actually don't know if it is really a problem with GKnot or XviD. But since it is happening with GKnot I decided to post here. :)
In GKnot options tab, where you can set both XviD and DivX default settings, I choose XviD (it happens on both first and second passes) and in its "Debug" tab, I choose to force CPU optimizations. Then I choose OK, OK. But when I go back there to check if it was set, the options went back to their default. So GKnot somehow is not saving these options from XviD (all the other options work OK).
