Hi everybody.
I'm very new to dvd backup. I did a few using the big3, dvd shrink, maestro, and they all work good.
This time I also used the big3, but somehow I updated the wrong ifo. I don't have the original because some space problems and because the image seemd to play fine on the pc.
Later on I found out that even on pc, the last 6 chapters of so, pointed to somewhere beyond the length of the movie. To some extras.
On the standalone it just stops after the intro.
Now is there anything I can do to fix this? I like the original menu and all, and i would like to keep them.
I have to point out that I'm not familiar with many of these tools, and also that I red thru the forums a lot, but I can't seem to find an answer.
I appologise if this is not the right forum, but I think this tool might be able to do it , I just don't know how to.

Any sugestions, much appreciated

Thank you.

If it's just some pointers pointing beyond the end, you can use IfoEdit or IfoUpdate to Get_VTS_Sectors. Other than that, re-rip the ifo (they take very little space).

Thank you for the quick answer.
But let me apologise for my incorrect or incomplet information.
Actually the ifo I have is the original one. I don't have the one Scenarist generated.
What I did, was I created a new directory where I copyed all the files I needed. But when I updated the original ifo, I pointed to the directory DuItFast4U created, instead of the one where I copyed all the files. And so I deleted the one I needed.
Do I still have a chance or I have to do everything again?

many thanks

I'm gonna let the DoIt guys answer that, since I'm not familiar with its operation.

just recompile your project in Scenarist

The problem is, I don't have any of those files anymore. I was just hoping there's an easier way.
So I'll have to do everything again.

Thanks anyway.

Well, I don't know how, but I just fixed it. I don't know what I did different than yesterday, cos I tryed this yesterday too and it didn't work.
I used ifoedit to create a new ifo for each set of vobs that needed to be updated, and than ifoupdate, and used the new ones as authored ones, and it worked.
I just burnt the disk and it works as is supposed to.

So this is it.
Thanks for trying to help.
