View Full Version : Blurring out sections of video
Let's say there is a video that has some form of banner that keeps popping up and scrolling on the screen while the video is playing back. This banner is not a subtitle stream but hard-coded into the video. Is there anything I can do without re-encoding the video (as it doesn't need to be) to get rid of or blur just that banner out? Likewise, is there a way to do that while re-encoding (with CCE)? Any help is appreciated, thanks. :)

well, not sure what part of that is an authoring question, let alone an advanced authoring question (unless you want to use a moving subpic stream to put a box over the top of the 'scrolling text'.
you are better off checking out the avisynth forum, the vdub forum or the NLE forum.

nop! nothing u can do even reencoding the video unless u chop off the specific part of croping the portion of the screen where it appears.
