ok, so i decided to try upgrading Avisynth on my system from 2.08 to 2.52, i heard it was faster. so i install 2.52 and the ffv program it comes with. after that DIF4U asks to correct my avisynth scripts and i click 'yes'. next i check the scripts footer in DIF4U and there is AddAudio(), as before and the new ConvertToBLAH(). with these scripts CCE SP will not encode any files loaded by DCCE4U. i have tried just opening CCE and encoding .avs manually and same error. so, last time i had a problem with avisynth i had to change the script footer in DIF4U to get CCE working. i tried many combinations of adding and deleting footers to no success. i finally uninstalled 2.52 and ffv and reinstalled 2.08. after i did this and opened DIF4U, it again asked to fix avisynth scripts, i clicked yes, but it left ConverToBlah() in the footer. i ran DIF4U and CCE still didn't work! now i was mad. my precious DVD reauthoring system was non-functional just because i tried to get a little more speed. remember, if it ain't broke...
anyways i just got it working again (so far) with 2.08 by removing the ConvertToBlah() from the DIF4U footer. my question is anybody know what i need to do to get avisynth 2.52 working with the Big 3?
i'm running:
DIF4U 1.1.1.0, Reauthorist 1.00, DCCE4U 1.0.1.5, CCE SP 2.50, Scenarist NT
oh yeah, all i use is NTSC. thanx
