I´ve increduly checked your board and have found only one post to the best media player yet but no link was up - yes forget your bsplayers, zoomplayers,TCMP and stop dreaming of new radlight.
You must try it and see. Everything is supported. Been using it since early alphas & it just entered beta - bugs or crashes have been sparse & few - extremely configurable & very powerful, all movie info at the touch of a button - i can guarantee once you've used it you won't go back to anyother prog.

Nice advertising..Last time I tested this player about 5-6 month ago it didn't impress me. it was really buggy and crashed all the time.
Of course I am gonna try this again, but I also noticed that there isn't a single version on your site without 'beta' or 'alfa' on it's name so this can't be "the best media player yet".
Usually there is a reason for these beta and alfa-versions...

and stop dreaming of new radlight.
It's not a dream, it's reality :D

Well, it depends ... ;) Since we entered alpha phase nobody managed to crash the player ... :D

alfa is buggy, beta usually are stable versions, only not all features the developper intended are implemented :)
aniway, it's not my site, it's just a program I do like very much, and since i don't see it aroun doom9, just thought i'd share it with everyone, sorry if it looked like marketing.

EAC has been beta for so long I've given up on a full production version, I think its 0.95b3 now, yet its the best audio extraction tool I know of. So I don't think that beta is necessarily an issue. I'll give it a try.

I dont like to install any new player if web-site can't tell me what features it offers? So why should I take the risk to install something buggy if my players already work great and I dont know if this new player has any features I dont already have?

Sorry valky, i will eventually write a post saiyg what features it has, i'm only a user who tries to use the best soft i can find, what i can tell you is that it gives me a control over what i'm playng that i cannot find in any other soft, perhaps zp, but it's a bit confusig & not tried it long enough, mv2 is quite user friendly, & i keep finding new amazing things everyday, never aging, the control it gives me over every aspect of every codec keeps me amazed. All i can say is that you really have to try it to see, I believe it will be long for any other program to keep me away from mv2. & damn, it keeps just getting better every day.
Perhaps i'm just a control freak
If you don't taste it, you'll never know what it tastes like.
You can always uninstall it later on, so. In my view there's really nothing to lose.
- Anyway - you're quite right about the changelog, I'll mail them someday bugging their development team to post it. :D

That changelog would be nice. And I am trying this today, but please stop being such a ridiculous on your post. It is SO OBVIOUS that you work for the m2v-team since that can easily be spotted on your posts...all of them concerning your player btw...
Average user doesn't use such tone in his posts..no matter what software he has used :)

Ok. Now I have tried this player and I have to admit that it really is nice player and very good lookin too :)
I have found a couple of bugs,though .
If you open and play any video containing ac3 audio and try to open options-menu, the program crashes and shuts down. So does it have it own ac3 decoder or is this because I use this opensource AC3filter 0.68b?
Also the program opens too ffdshow decoders to my system tray so I hope it doesn't take double cpu-power too :)
But very nice player and very nice options and features. Still learning..
Edit: Unisntalling AC3Filter helps to crashing, but I dont see that as very good solution...

@ Valky
I really am not mv2 team, just wanted to share this prog i love with everyone here on doom9, sorry if my posts sounded that way, was just trying to attract some attention to the soft. I could be more specific but as you might have seen there is plenty of stuff in it & would be a hefty post to write. I'm a bit lazy :p .
Anyway, I posted on their forums about the bugs you mentioned & told them try try to get some feedback from the best forum on the web  :D
I'll just be here in my corner waiting for new releases, and oozing on doom9's posts
