Hello all,
I have been using the "big 3" to do my DVDs, and this one (an anime DVD) is giving me some problems. In the movie PGC the 1st VOBID is like a mixed thing, where if I do a DVD2AVI on it the 1st 20 seconds or so (company logo, animations and such) is not FILM, while everything else is FILM (and the .d2v file shows the beginning is like "2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2" for a while). As a result, if I do a pulldown on the resultant CCE file the whole thing becomes 29.97 and as a result the chapter points are all wrong (wrong timestamps). I did feed DoCCE4U the right chapter point frame numbers so I think I'm OK on that, but how do I make the resultant file to be part NTSC part FILM so that the Scenarist chapter points will line up right? Also, I'm just curious how come despite all that, the video still seems to be in sync with the audio as the after pulldown video is like 02:02:27 long (which is wrong) and the audio is 02:02:35? Or the difference is too little that I don't notice?
