I'm having trouble with large (20GB+) files being written incorrectly in direct stream copy mode. I don't know exactly what's going wrong, but upon opening such a file VDubMod tries to re-index it. Opening with VDub's "rederive keyframes" option it gets halfway through the file and gives up. It works in media players.

I haven't tested it thoroughly, so I don't know if it's confined to direct stream mode. I do know that writing a small segment of the file works ok, as does writing the (entire) file in VDub 1.5.4.

Yes you use the first 1.5.1.1a version released which had a bug with >2GB files (writing invalid indexes). The latest bugfix release (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=65889&release_id=130443) should fix your problem (and other bugs).
