Need script for resizing mpeg from 480x576 to 720x480

I need help writing an avisynth script that will help me resize an mpeg file that is 480x576 to 720x480. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm going to try to convert a PAL SVCD to a NTST DVD compliant MPEG2.

I dont think anyone is gonna answer this question. Read the Documentation that came with avisynth. But, since im feeling good:

Mpeg2Source(your source)
BiCubicResize(720,480)

Ps, your gonna get some pretty horrific aspect ratio errors.

I dont wanna come off as rude or elitest, but in truth, sometimes I get the feeling that people are too impaitient, ie, not taking time to research before comming and asking a question.

I have lots of patience, I was just looking for a little guidance because i have poor math skills and the resizing thing is difficult for me. I have read the guides and was hoping that someone with a little experience would be happy to share with a newbie rather than hoarding their knowlwedge. I always enjoy sharing what I know with some one who is just trying to get started. Especially if we both have similar areas of interest.

Thanks, its the part about maintaining the aspect ratio that i cant figure out. Oh well i suppose that ill just play around till i find the numberts that make it look good.

ahem...
the resize from 480x576 (PAL) to 720x480 (NTSC) is correct. The DVD-Player will correct the AR while playing.

the hard part of this thing will be the conversion from 25 fps to 23,976 fps or 29,97 fps!

please take a look at the manual of the smoothdeinterlacer there are described some methods of standards-conversion.

Which kind of video source is your SVCD?
1) is it progressive (25fps Film)?
or
2) is it Interlaced (50 fields/sec Video)?


1st only requires a slowdown of Video AND Audio from 25fps to 23,976.

the 2nd thing requires the methods described in the smoothdeinterlacer manual.
