I authored a DVD-SVCD (?) with no problem. I originally used DVDLab 1.1 and allowed it to transcode the audio to 48khz mpeg audio.
The resulting DVD played through the receiver (with the designation MPEG) but had missing sound (avery so often the sound would disappear for a second, all audio stayed in synch). I originally had the JVC XV-N30BK plugged into the Sony DD/DTS receiver using coax optical. I connected RCA cables and now I can select Analog Source on the receiver and the sound is OK.

So I re-authored the DVD-SVCD transcoding the sound files to AC3 using BeSweet 1.5b19 (as a plugin to DVDLab 1.2.2b)
Now the DVD-SVCD will play in Windows media player fine, but no sound at all in PowerDVD or WinDVD 4.

On my JVC - I have no sound from the digital connection at all, but the analog connection is working.

The original SVCD's play in the JVC just fine (without the analog RCA connections)

Anyone have any idea what I can do to get the sound to play through the digital connection?
