LCD panel for 5.25" bay

I'd like to build a small PC to handle the duties of DVD player, PVR, music jukebox, etc. I want to put a small LCD display in a 5.25" drive bay to show information such as time, movie/music time, etc.

Can anyone suggest an on-line retailer that sells these? And how about software to run it?
