I'm trying to make a full backup of a disc containing two titles, Seul Contre Tous and Carne. Since the movies has no subtitles and my french is not what it used to be ;) ,I have downloaded some english subtitles that I would like to add to the DVD-R.

I have no problem reencoding the movies and putting them back together on a DVD-R (according to doom9s guides) and I have no problem converting the subtitles to a format that scenarist can hanldle.

The tricky part is that I can't figure out how you add the subtitle stream (or any other stream) to the full backup. Every full-backup guide I've seen requires that the amount of streams are the same as in the original dvd.

So....the question is: How can I add streams to a full backup???

(I'm using Scenarist for authoring)

What should do the trick (I think, never tried it) is use the option copy audio and subtitle tables in ifoupdate. (Ofcourse you add the subtitle stream in scenarist first)

I did that a couple of times and selecting 'Copy Audio and Subpicture Tables' realy does the trick

I am sure that u don't need all the sub streams in a dvd. Just replace the icelandic ones with the new u want to add.

If I read correctly the original has no subtitles at all? Otherwise replacing an existing one is a perfect option ofcourse

Hi!

I replaced the original french subtitles to Russian ones.My question is:

Is there any option to change the button name from French to Russian in subtitles menu?
