Scarface [Region 1]: Displaying Main Menu Upon DVD Insert

User lrosado wanted to know how to do this so I came up with this small simple guide to help him and others. The total size of the ripped and unstripped files is 7.63 GB (8,199,794,688 bytes) so do what you need to do for you to get your backup. FYI, the trailers and outtakes are in the VIDEO_TS.VOB.

Tools I used
IFOedit 0.95
DVD Decrypter in File Mode

____________________________________________
1. Rip all files to a folder on your harddrive.

2. Open VIDEO_TS.IFO with IFOedit and press "Get VTS Sectors" button. Press OK

3. Go to VIDEO_TS.IFO / VMGM_MAT / First Play PGC / PGC Command Table section. We need to edit Pre Command #11 as follows. Right click on Pre Command #11 and select "Edit Command". Select "(JumpSS_VTSM) Jump to Titleset Menu" and input [Title Nr: 1, TitleSet Nr.: 1, Menu: root]. Press OK.

OLD > 11.Pre Command...(JumpTT) Jump to Title: 3
NEW > 11.Pre Command...(JumpSS VTSM) Jump to TitleSet(vts): 1, Title(ttn): 1, root-menu

4. Save VIDEO_TS.IFO

5. That's it!:) Press DVDplay button to preview/test.

HUH? :confused: I have no idea what you are talking about. It says "Displaying" not "Disabling". Deny, deny, deny...

Just kidding! ;). I was really tired when I posted the shortcut link that so thanks for pointing out the typo. :D
