View Full Version : How to Warm Up Audio

I have an AVI with msuic video that was made at a studio and I have no idea how the audio was processed, but its Stereo on the file. When I encoded the AVI file with TMPGEnc, I got an AC3 file with 83ms delay.

What do I need to do to improve the singer's presentation? Does it need reverb for warmth.

One of the musicians on the video thinks that the singer sounds flat and is offering to bring the file to a friend who knows how to add warmth to the sound, because that person does recordings professionally, but no videos. And especially has no clue about the potential for messing up the syncing of the audio to the video track after processing it.

I have downloaded the FAQs and it looks daunting, without knowing which road to take. Is there a one click solution or do I have to follow a Guide and experiment.

I have access to different video editors, Cool Edit Pro, and several downloadable programs here.

Any initial comments to help me on this journey?

Thanks.
