Hi,guys!
I't clear that we can use lame dll in cool edit proAvirtualdubmod etc.For example, how to use lame dll in cool edit pro?I've known the FhG encoder is included in cool edit pro2.1(full version). So I could use FhG encoder right now,but I want to use lame dll for encoding vbr mp3.I downloaded lame dll from shooter.com.And I also looked throuhg the readme included in the zip package.
Here is the reference:(from readme)
1. Copy/extract LameCom.dll to c:\temp\
2. Click on the Start button -> Run and type in and press Enter :
regsvr32 c:\temp\LameCom.dll
3. You can now remove LameCom.dll
4. Copy/Extract all files to temporary directory (eg. c:\temp\)
5. Right click on the "install.inf" file and select "Install"
6. You can now delete all the files in your temporary directory
After finishing the installation,I run my cool edit pro. When I want to save the file with mp3 format,no lame encoder is found in cool edit pro2.1 and only the FhG encoder is available. What's wrong? But I'm sure the lame dll has been installed correctly.Even in virtualdubmod,I still can't find the item in audio-compression when using full processing mode.By the way,my OS is win98.
It's obvious cool edit pro is different from cdex1.5.I can find different encoders in options of cdex1.5 while no more encoders can be selected in cool edit pro expect for the FhG encoder.
Best regards.
