skipping keeps hapenning on standalone.

i posted earlier on how my dvd backups would skip on standalone but not on the comp. i tried all the process of riping that i could. i did: smartripper to extract the whole cd and than dvd2one and taht skiped than i tried dvdxcopy and taht skipped, than i tried smartripper with dvdshrink and taht still skiped. i also used differnet media from emtec to TDK can anyone help me out there. and i did manage to get one copy of gangs of new york not to skip using smartripper and dvd2one but all others failed.

You could have continued the discussion in your previous thread....

One more thing to check. Click on www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers -- look up your standalone by make and model. Your player may not support the media.
