I've got about 6+ movies backed up in disk waiting for media.
Some of them were ripped using Instant Copy with the DVD Magic hidden setting to remove some of the titles.
I've read before that they might not play on a standalone player.
Is it OK to try to post correct these backups with IFOEdit?
Or can't it do anything after IC has done it's job?
Shall I remove the deleted titles and correct the sectors?
Or must I always do that before IC?

if you change the first play to the movie then it should play them
then just press menu button to access whatever extras you kept if need be
its always best to remove the extras 1st regarding IC :)

@duartix
I decided to save you the search and did a copy and paste off one of my guides, with little modifications, on how to get your movie to play upon DVD insert.
Currently, I use DVD Decrypter to rip my DVd files so after you have ripped, proceed to guide below. If you had used Smartripper, Region Free each IFO as stated in Step #2 but if you used DVD Decrypter, it wouldn't be necessary.

1. Inquiring your Movie's Title Number
In IFOedit, we need to find out what the Title Number is for your movie. Browse to VIDEO_TS.IFO / VMG Overview / Number of Title Play Maps. The Title with the most chapters is most likely your movie’s title.
In a case if you have a DVD with Widescreen and Fullscreen, you will have two Titles with the same amount of chapters. You need to know which one is the one you want. Usually, it's pretty simple. Scroll down to “Number of Video Title Sets on this DVD” and examine your two Titles. Normally, the one with a video attribute of 16:9 is your Widescreen Title and the other Title should be your Fullscreen, 4:3.
If both are showing the 4:3, then play your original DVD in IFOedit. Not the one your ripped to your harddrive. When you get the movie that you want playing, look in IFOedit’s DVD Play Panel. There is a status window. Your Title number will be displaying.

2. Get VTS Sectors in IFOedit and Region Free each IFO (If Smartripper is used)in IFOedit. Remember to save IFO if RCE is detected.

3. Now go to your VIDEO_TS.IFO / VMGM_MAT / First Play PGC / PGC Command Table in your movie folder on your harddrive. Edit your first pre command to jump to your Title. Right Click on Pre Command line and select “Edit Command”. Choose "(JumpTT) Jump to Title" in pulldown menu and enter your Title Nr as found in step 1. You should have this below.
1.Pre Command (JumpTT) Jump to Title: #
Translation: Upon DVD insert, your movie will play.

4. Save VIDEO_TS.IFO

5. Press DVDPlay button to preview/test in IFOedit.

Thanks!
I'm new to these lower (because they come after) forums and the awesome quantity of your guides had me pretty :scared: !
I've come to the conclusion that I must read at least some of the guides before I can get results with IFOEdit...
