How is it with recording movies from TV, and making collection with such records? Is it legal (in your country)?
I never saw some notice like DVD FBI warnings before emiting movie on some TV (Satellite) station.

It souldn't be illegal according that we have new digital recorders, digital SAT programs. Or I'm wrong?
Maybe only scrambled content is illegal?

Its legal in most countries, its called time shifting. The idea is that you have paid to watch the content, and you have a right to choose to watch it at a later time, or repeatedly.

With DVDs, as you probably know, its not that you are copying the disk that is illegal, its that you are bypassing copyprotection to do so.(US, and now Germany?)
