Audio Interleaving

Hi all

I have an MPEG2 file created with TMPGEnc with the audio playing about 7.5 seconds earlier than video. If this was an AVI, I’d use Virtual Dub and set the Audio Interleaving to “7500 ms” but since this is an MPEG how can I do such a thing?
I can correct it with VirtualDubMod but it doesn’l let me save the file as an MPEG.

extract the audio, convert it to a *.wav, load the *.wav into a sound editing program (sound forge, cool edited, goldwave) and add whatever you think the differences is (you said 7500ms) to the beginning of the audio and then save it, convert it back to the orginally format it was, and multiplex it using Tmpgenc -> Mpeg Tools

make sure you know the correct difference between the audio & video, because it can become very time consuming.
