i have been trying various plugins to produce 1cd svcd's ( it is possible - i have d/l egs of up to 105 minutes on a single cd )but at 12 - 18 hours per conversion its a bit of a wait to get something useless :(
so what i wanted to do was use an avi clip and test with various plugin combinations but it would appear that dvd2svcd doesnt like short clips
eg is an 8mb avi file 1 minite and a couple of seconds long chosen for being 1% of final required size with fast motion and cgi
what i would have liked to do is change the third entry in bitrate section to be a cd of size 8mb but when i do this the greyed out bitrates show figures of -132 to -135
so i tried changing the time in the first entry to 2 minutes but it changes the bitrate from 2048 to 55542
if i just leave all as it was the end result is a file twice the size i would like ie 16 odd meg instead of 8mb im aiming for
