I've used DVD Shrink to backup many of my DVD9s to 1CD before without a problem.
Region 4 Star Trek Nemesis DVD9, I'm trying to backup to DVD5 1CD using DVDShrink 2.3.
Should be easy, after removing German Audio & 2 Channel English, no compression is required and 5.1 English audio remains.
When I viewed the Vob files afterwards with Power DVD, no audio could be found.
I then ripped the whole main movie without touching the Audio using DVD Decrypter IFO mode. When I viewed the Vobs with PowerDVD, it could only play the German audio and could not find anything else in "Other audio languages".
The original DVD plays English audio without a problem. I have also tried this with DVD2One V.1.2.1 and DVD Shrink 103. Same results - The only audio it will ever find is the German audio if I include that and compress the video, and if I just include English audio it finds no audio. I should mention that this is the first DVD9 I have seen where the English audio is not the first item listed - The German audio is listed first with this one.
Is there a way to compress a DVD9 ISO? That might fix it. Otherwise I'm stuck and would really appreciate help. Thanks.
