I'm a newbie and I'm sure I'm not the only one this dense but I've
searched, checked the (recent) guides and faqs. Somehow I've missed
it, but is their a guide on how to set up the besweet GUI? I did
see the posting that said the GUI commandline section is readonly
but it isn't clear to me how one clears/resets the info in the various
input-output boxes.

I'm attempting to convert mp2 music files to something my burner
will accept (WAV, WMA, or MP3).

Most of the guides here (http://www.doom9.org/audio-guides.htm) use BeSweet, that should help you with some of the GUI setup information. As far as decoding .mp2 to .wav, I think something like "Besweet.exe -core ( -input "myfile.mp2" -output "audio.wav" -2ch )" should do it. Transcoding to mp3 or wma is a bad idea, because your burner is converting to .wav before it burns (only .wav are accepted by audio-cds), and the number of transcodes is inversely proportional to quality. Hope this helps,
