Chapter selection returns me to main menu

I`m trying to backup Amores Perros PAL. I`ve stripped all extrass leaving me with nothing but movie.

I`ve used the full dvdr backup guide, scenarist & the big 3. The problem is as follows: When selecting one of the last 4 chapters of the movie, it returns me to the main menu. I`ve had no problems with the guide, but the result confuses me.

I`ve tried not updating the ifo files, but I get the same result.
When I play the movie from the beginning and fast-tracking to the end, I can see that it somehow cannot reach the last 30 minutes of the movie. This would explain why the chapters can`t find the part of the movie they`re pointing to, but why is an 2 hour 27 minute long movie cut to 2 hours and 7 minutes ? .. Where can this have happened ?

And just a note, I`m new at this, so any good advice would be appreciated :)

How many movie VOBs does your movie contain? You might have exceeded the 9GB file limit. Which full dvdr backup guide are you referring too?

the movie contains 5 vobs. 4 of them are 0,99 gb and nr 5 is 322 mb.

I`m talking about DVD9 ---> 1 Dvdr backups using Scenarist , dif4u, reauthorist and dcce4u.

I am not using the big-3 at the moment, so what i am going to suggest might as well be a non valid suggestion at all. Have u performed a get vts sectors after ifoupdating? It sure looks like a misaligned pointer to me.
