works for me. I've had some problems over the week-end but since yesterday things are back to normal. The forum is still down though, but that's mentioned in their news.

Strange, http://212.63.136.4 works http://www.doom9.de not,... :p

There seems to be some sort of a "routing" problem I guess. From my PC at home I can't reach the main website www.doom9.de and a ping on it gives me the IP 217.160.166.26.
But I'm able to remotely login to a little office network that is something like hundred kilometers away from me. If I remotely start browsing the net from this PC I can reach the main site without problems and a ping from this PC gives me the IP 212.63.136.4 for www.doom9.de - strange.
If I use this IP directly from my home PC the main website works too, if I try www.doom9.de it still doesn't work - like Selur already mentioned.
But still no go for the forum.

hmm... ping www.doom9.de => 212.63.136.4,
ping doom9.de => 217.160.166.26
The former works, the latter doesn't.

Scipio knows about this but he can't do anything either.. it's the admin of the forum server that has to fix things, and he's been out of touch for the past few days. Considering it's holiday time, it's only natural that things are a bit slower.

I couldn't access the main doom9.org and this forum most of this day. Is it just me?
Thanks

Nope, it wasn't just you. My best guess is that sprintnet had some routing problems since a traceroute just bounced around and when the forum came back I could verify that it hadn't been down. Let's hope everything will stay online now.
