What happened to Bach?

Anybody know where Bach went? I noticed that a couple of days ago he deleted all of his posts and the links to his filters. Did he take offense to something someone said? It's a shame, because his rePal filter is one of my favorite and very effective.

I find it rather ridiculous that the forum allows one to delete swaths of content retroactively.

@Richard: Yes - but it would be even more annoying to loose editing capabilities. The chances of anyone getting such a silly idea again is pretty small.
