Lba ?

can someone please tell me what 'LBA' is in relation to VOB files. i have been sifting through source code, and came to realise that i do not understand.

Logical Block Address, same as on hard drives. It's the sector number relative to the start of the fileset. For ifo, bup, and menu vobfiles (vts_xx_0.vob) that's the file itself. For titleset vob files (file names vts_xx_y.vob, where xx is the same, and y is 1 through 9) all the files are treated as one long file.
