Has anyone taken a closer look how Disney's Treasure Planet (R2) is compiled?
When you examine it with IfoEdit, you'll see there are two PGCs, one being 10 secs longer. That difference results from more than 20 inserted (black) fragments of 12 frames each.
Is this just trying to fool one-click-apps to auto-select the longest PGC and thus producing a video with half-a-second gaps every now and then? Or is there a real purpose why they did it that way?

Just curious...

Treasure Planet R1 also has this.
I'm pretty sure the longer version includes the "visual commentary" information.
I selected the shorter of the two titles and made a perfect back up.

Treasure Planet is one odd DVD..what i did was rip the two main title files...and i found that title 1 had no sound, but title 2 was the normal movie.........very strange..
