I apologize for posting this here, but it is related to RealVideo playback. We have a bug report (from this forum) from one system with the nForce2 chipset. It is either hardware related, or a calculation problem after accessing the hardware timer, resulting in very choppy video playback, and frozen video for seconds.
The problem is we do not seem to have any newer AMD systems with an nForce2 motherboard controller chipset, and can not verify if this is an isolated case, or a general nForce2 problem.
So I was wondering if someone with an nForce2 system, and who has 2 minutes, could download this test utility (http://www.lillevold.com/files/tick.zip), unzip and run it. Change the output path to a directory that exists on your system, and press "start" with default options. Send the resulting tick.txt file back to the e-mail included in the zip file. If there is a problem, there will be negative jumps in the measured tickcount (time).
EDIT: I have several positive reports already, indicating things are fine, so unless you have video playback problems like described here, there is no need to download and run this. However, if you do, check the columns for any large negative jumps in time.
