I am not so sure! It works perfect on my pc, but two dvd's I burnt, did not work with this method. I found the method on Twilight's guide. He said it was safe.
1st DVD: Donnie Darko. Cut all extras .vob's out, kept .ifo, .bup, and vts_xx_0.vob files for structure purposes (as outlined in Doom9's guide). I then ran GET VTS sectors. THEN I erased the VIDEO_TS.vob and ran a GET VTS Sectors again. Works perfect on my pc. When I burnt it to disk (used IMG Tools Classic build 5 to build an .ISO), boots to menu then the menu freezes twice. If you press stop twice (to clear from resuming) then press play, it starts to play the movie directly. The movie works fine.
2nd DVD: Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Erased all extras vob files. Then I erased the VIDEO_TS.vob and ran a GET VTS Sectors on the whole DVD. It works fine on the PC but when I imaged it and burnt it, it plays in the player, but never goes to the menu. In fact, the word MENU is displayed on my Pioneer 343 but the screen remains blue (as if it hasn't started at all). There's no sound, nothing. Just the blue screen and MENU displayed on my DVD player.
Any ideas? Should I just be stripping those FBI warnings (VOB ID's) with IFOEDIT instead of erasing the entire VIDEO_TS.VOB?

P.S. - I was always under the impression that you had to do a Get VTS Sectors on *1* .IFO file and the rest would automatically save. According to Doom9's guide (which I just re-read), GET VTS Sectors should be run on EVERY .IFO file. Is this true?
