Pioneer DVR-103 firmware

I have the v1.90 firmware now and the burner is 100% perfect. I read on a site that the 2.0 firmware allows 2X burning on more generic media. Is this upgrade worth it or should I stick with what works?

I use this 2.0 for quite a while now and had now problems. but
I never used the 1.90 so I can't tell about any differences.

Hi,

I have upgraded to F/W 2.0 and I still can't burn at x2 !!!! I also can't read the Bulkpaq 'Orange' x4 DVD-R's. I have contacted Pioneer several times about this - but have just come up against a brick wall - they blame everything but themselves. In the end I told them not to bother and that when my A03 needs replacing it certainly won't be with another Pioneer. No reply to that, so I suppose they just are'nt bothered :angry::rolleyes:
