im doing a divx 5 movie with ac3 audio
and while watching the movie it sometimes fast forwards the movie by a second inorder for the audio to load properly
i saw the audio preload setting and wondered if that would help me fix that problem.
but which settings do i touch?
would it require extra processing power from the cpu?
(i hope im clear about what i just said)

What you're describing is no real problem, it happens by almost everybody, nothing to worry about.

As for preload/interleaving settings for AC3, both should be on 96ms, no matter what kind of ac3 it is.

so there is no way to prevent it?

Hi-

I use 96/96 myself (I probably got it from you, Awatef, by way of DJ Bobo) and have never had the problem you're describing. You might try with one of your problem .avis. Open it in Nandub, set the Video to Direct Stream Copy. Then in Audio-Interleaving, set both Preload and Interleave to 96 ms, and set the Delay if necessary. Then go File-Save as Avi, and give it a different name. You shouldn't use the default settings for AC3 audio.
