This is an great program which I am am new to.Picture and sound quality are outstanding and I it's easy ?
My problem is that usually about 3/4 of the way through the 1st disk my player locks up like a computer that's trying to catch up (memory).
My current player is a Sony and the old one was a JVC (same problem on most movies ?)The new player also stalls on the next feature (chapters)
as the JVC did shortly before I upgraded to the Sony because I thought the JVC was dying.
During this time I upgraded DVD2SVCD to 1.1.3. (before the Sony)
Could this version have a default setting I'm not aware of that is causing this problem?
The frustrating part is that my little bro has a cheapass Electrahome dvd player that doesn't skip a beat on my backups.
HELP I'm frustrated! I,ve searched the help files but to no avail.

the easyest solution for you is to get a cheap player just like your brother have. the problem you just told about befoure is a pleyer problem. have you tried the vcd header trick ? ( use svcd in the player with the header of an vcd, might work in the players you mentioned ... )
