I know many people have posted this error and I've seen verious things to try like "make sure you have ntfs" etc....

I'm currently working w/ "The Abyss - Special Edition" (region 1) which is a seamless branching DVD.

THe process starts - analyses the first 2/3 Titles then bombs while saying
Progress "Getting audio data size 3 of 5"
Status: Retrieving source Disk Information

then the error window pops up: "Access violation at address 043e29b7 in module 'vobsrc.ax'. Read of address 54482E0C"

has anyone found the cause of this error? SO far the only DVD I've run into this with

Thanks

What program are you using? I'm assuming IC7. It's been awhile since anyone posted to this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=46687&highlight=vobsrc) about that particular driver, perhaps it's been fixed in the latest update.

Yeah IC7 - latest patch (3)

I tried extracting the files and using "HD" as source - that seemed to work.

My guess for me is that either IC or FantomCD/Daemon tools has problem with really large images... (this is a full dvd-9 image)
