I have tried ritek, princo, datasafe dvd's and allso the mixed dvd's from svp.I have tried burning the dvds @ 1x,2x,4x but still the same, can anybody put this problem to bed for me.

Here is what i do.
1.insert dvd to be backed up.
2.Start Smartripper and click on backup save as require and click start.
3.Then open dvd2one click next set movie size to 4380mb and click full disk click start.(I have tried verious sizes and movie only).
4. start image tool and make iso image only.(tried iso9660 and joliet but reading in this forum they say not to use these).

I may not be able to help you, but I do suggest you use a better title that describes your problem in the future. Many here ignore posts like these. This is why it is Rule 9 of the forum rules.

What are you using to actually burn the discs? It looks like Image tool, but just want to be sure.

Have you tried using RecordNow Max? I find it by far the best DVD recording software out there today.

You should try it with a pioneer or apple branded disk to eliminate the possiblity of it being your media.
also try to see if you can test it on someone else's dvd player, preferably a different brand/model.
