View Full Version : Matroska trouble with includet SRC
I received two Matroska Files with 3 Audiotracks and one Subtiteltrack (SRT).
ZoomPlayer gives me an Error: "Unable to create Filter for... This may be due to a corrupt File or missing..."
Media Player Classic do play the Movie, but don't let me choose the Subtitles.
VirtualDubMOD opens the Video correctly and shows the SRT-Stream in the List. But if i try to demux the SRT from the Video, i get an Error: "Error while reading: seeked on bad cluster."
Hm, any idea what's going one? Or do i miss a Tool for Demuxing single
Streams?

You sure you have the latest version of Gabest' matroska splitter filter installed ? get it from here (http://sf.net/projects/guliverkli). BTW, if its only one subtitle stream, what do you wnat to select  ??

I bet you use the old VdubMod 1.5.1.1a from the full download pack on sourceforge. Be sure to download the latest bugfix release from http://sf.net/projects/virtualdubmod and replace virtualdubmod.exe and the .vdi in your VdubMod folder with this newer version ( build nr. indicated on top should be 1860 IIRC ) ....

You may try mkvinfo to check if the file is correct first.
That's weird. After Re-Installing all Filters and Codecs (the same as before), i can Play the Movie including the Subtitles. Works fine so far.

Hm, after Downloading and copying it (VirtualDubMod_CVS_20030611.zip) i got 1639 as Build nr.
And i still can't demux the SRT-Stream. Same Error as before.

That build hasn't been released to the public yet.

Let's hope this build will come very soon because I made some mkv files and I just saw there was pbs with the subs... (Bad recognition of some caracts). I really don't want to redo all the work I've done just because of a little subtitle pb ^^;;; It will be great if I can just demux/fix/remux my subs...
This build will really save me a couple hours...

... what a bad Trick! And i searched, and searched... ;)
Guess i have to wait for the new Build to Re-Encode the Movie.
Meantime, i've given GraphEdit a shot. I was able to get the Subtitles from the Video (Matroska Splitter and Dump). But the Timing is missing. Al i've gotten is the RAW Text.
This start's driving my crazy...
Is there really no other way to get the SRT-Stream out of the Video?
