I downloaded the 15day trial version the day before yesterday and I have to admit it is quite good fun.

I decided to have a go at re-encoding the hi-def (1440x816) WMV Terminator trailer to hi-def (1440x816) DivX.

Well it worked, sort of. As you are able to transcode direct to DivX but unfortunately although the image looks very good, it does'nt run very smoothly.

I wonder if there are any high def (2pass VBR) DivX encodes available for download somewhere. I had a look on the DivX website but had no success.

I'm not all that familiar with Dr. Divx - could someone compare it to Gordian Knot?
