Hi
I was just wondering if there is any home DVD recorder out there which is capable of recording from both TV/Camcorder and computers.
By recording from computers, I mean burning a DVD project rather than sending video data from your video card through an iLink/Firewire connection to the recorder.

Thanks

I doubt it....
you might find something that takes firewire as an input...then using a firewire PCI card you could export DV video to it...
but a DVD project? forget it :)

hrg27,

When you say "Home DVD Recorders," do you mean a standalone DVD recorder? If so, then the answer is yes. Standalone recorders with firewire input can record from computer/miniDV camcorders directly to recordable DVDs. They also accept analog inputs (coaxial, RCA) to hook up 8mm/VHS camcorders and VCRs to transfer videos directly to recordable DVDs.
