Was'nt sure where to put this but i have some files that are DivX 5 with a ogm extention. But when i try to play them i get 'Windows Media Player encountered an unknown error.' Ive tryed BSPlayer and that crash's.I think it has something to do with them having ogm audio,as the only avi files i have problems with is ogm files.

I have the latest ogm codec,divx5 bundle, xvid mpeg4 codec and ive installed nimo codec pack before and i still get the problems with ogm.I have WMP9,BSPlayer, both give proglems.I running XP Pro.I dont remember having these problems on 98se or on XP when i first installed it.

Could anyone help me out.

Thanks.

Hi-

Do you have an OGG Vorbis Direct Show Filter (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Filters/OggDS0995.exe) installed?
