Hi,
I have downloaded a movie and its in DVD format (vob, ifo, bup).
And now i want to convert it into an mpg file or an SVCD.
Am I able to do this lossless without reencoding?

every disc is 541mb
mpginfo shows me a bitrate of 9mbit, but thats wrong i think.

Or can I use AVS to do this via cce?
which noise filter is good for snowy artefacts, its a camcorder capture.

No. Unless it already has the resoultion and bitrate required by the SVCD specs. But I guess it wouldn't be in a VOB then :p

yes

Which one is best depends on your source material. Try Convolution3D, Grape/Peach smoother, deen, temp Cleaner etc. Just play around or search the forum, noise removal is discussed in every 2nd topic :D

Strange filesizes, btw. Oh, and you do know about rule 6, right?
