Heya folks,

sorry I wasn't around tonight, but I took the time to do a redesign of my homepage - after all, a year after the last design changes has passed!

I hope you like the new layout.

Best regards
Koepi

Very nice. Simple, clean, nothing fancy. Not sure about the color scheme, but that's mostly a matter of personal taste. Overall, I like it.

maybe it's your blue period :D

hmm.. these colors. For me the site is still a little illegible. Maybe snort.org site colors and could be better?

wasn't there a commercial with somethign like: "Blue makes happy.." :D

I like the new design, wondering if it would look better is the "Koepi's Media Development Homepage" would be a bit mor on the right side,...

Cu Selur

Ps.: Do you know anything, beside the obvious about NanDub2 v2.01 (http://www.systranbox.com/systran/box?systran_lp=ru_en&systran_id=SystranSoft-en&systran_url=http://www.mysif.ru/FNanDub2.htm&systran_f=1057148732) ?

@Selur:
Nope, I didn't take any closer look at that nandub2 hack. IMO divx3 (or whatever gets used) isn't worth the efforts - all I want I can do with XviD easily ;)

@All:
I'll play around with the design a little more (like I did yesterday evening and this morning before going to work again) and hope to find something really nice soon. Hey, I'm still new to CSS ;) But it's definatly fun to play with.
The blue'ish design will stay, maybe i'll adopt the colours a little, it still doesn't look right. But I've not much time to spend on it (i.e. now i'm abusing time at work) so I won't become a real web designer soon :)

Thanks for all the feedback, keep it coming!

Best regards

.. A softer blue would be easier on the eyes ;D (that almost blinded me ;D )

I like it :) Very easy to navigate....I couldn't care less about color schemes ;) . As long as I can read it :)

Nice work,

hmm, I think the blue is a bit hard on the eyes but what bugged me more was that even in the best case, 55% of my screen was unused. I paid a lot of money for those unused 55% of my screen..

Thanks to all of your input, I hope the new colour scheme is more relaxing and pleasant.

About the missing huge contents - there's not much I can do, it's just an informal site, nothing special :) [on my screen (when switching the browser to full screen) even less than 45% are used...]

This is fun, something different to play with again :)

Thanks again,

best regards

Now it's really very clear-cut and pleasant! Goodie. :)

I love CSS2 as long as I don't have to write it myself. (That's why you won't ever see a homepage of humble me.)

Hey-ho.

nice but perhaps another font than arial would look even better...

Looks good!

Now I'm probably left as the only plain booring grey and white one around. ;)

Damn. Wanted to do something about the space usage - and now it looks like crap on internet explorer(5.0 at least).

Hm. I hate it when M$ doesn't properly support the standards.

It's perfect in mozilla!!

Lobuz

Nice. It's getting better and better. But scaling in mozilla isn't perfect fonts goes out of bars ( in IE there's no scaling ).I use higher resolutions and standard fonts look to me a little to small.

Regards
Lobuz

ps. snort site it is scaling much better but there're no styles I think

I think I like your site as I like your XviD builds ;) just great.
Thanks for your great work.

Just some inputs from me :)

Blue is a cool color! The website looks simple and nice! :D
Why are the links in 9pt font and normal text in 10pt?
It is VERY hard (at least for me) to tell if something is a link or just normal text! There's only a little color difference, maybe that difference should be greater or the link should have another style...
The space from normal text to the left border is smaller than that of us2 class. For a perfectionist like me that hurts my eyes :p

You don't have to consider my "tips", just my opinion...

Cheers!
Nibor

Edit: Sorry for "sniffing" around in your css-file  :)

Cool, bro! ;)

Koepi

...just in this second i made the site work with M$ Internet Explorer again :)

*whistle* nice if things start to work out!

nibor:
well, the links are smaller because you may see them easier then ;) I'll play around with the spaces, but unfortunately everything is different between IE and mozilla and thus it's hard to make it "perfect" on any browser... I prefer to optimize it for netscape/mozilla ;)

Yeah! That's something I like to hear :D (or better: to read *g*)

Hey maybe some M$ browser users switch to mozilla, because they want your site to be displayed right, hehe ;)

Bye!
Nibor

PS: Hey! If iago said that your site's cool, then it can't be wrong :D

Nice design, I like it. I seem to have a lot of trouble accessing your binaries though. It is absolutely impossible even when I turn off my firewall. I always am detected as a leecher which I am not, I am using Opera BTW. Probably not your problem, I bet it is my dumb ISP. :( But, I thought I might let you know anyway.

Garfield

I think it looks nice too

But can i suggest you to put the unstable binary at top of the xvid binaries page ? I know a lot of people not very familiar with xvid that run on your site and download the first thing available wich is the stable build

the web could look that great if everyone had your taste :D

everything works with opera 7
i can download, so BoNz1 probably has another problem than using opera.
