scenarist error

i'm getting this error when authoring:

anyone familiar with this error?
could it be some kind of copy protection?

I GUESS that something went wrong while reencoding. Maybe this area has a bitrate of 0 or so?

yeah
it's a 14 second intro movie with the studio etc.. it's like there is some kind of protection in there.. a strange frame or something..

i really don't know. Can you play it normally (the clip) with a software player? It's kind of strange that you get an error around 35 secs if you say the clip is only 14 seconds long?

yeah i posted it in the DoItFast4U, DoCCE4U & ReAuthorist forum..
yeah it plays fine in powerdvd although around the 35/36 sec mark the screen turns black and all of sudden a logo flashes by like 1 tenth of a second..

What the layout of the ifo? It sounds like ity has to be done by vobid instead of pgc.

Ok I looked at your ifo. The sructure is done by vobid. I assume the problems you have are with pgc1?

As you can see pgc1 consists of vob 1,2,3. Since the vobids are only used in pgc1 you can demux by pgc. But since you're having problems with it could you try demuxing by vobid?

You can use doitfast4u for this. Instead of using the clip you have now import the 3 files you'll get from the demuxing process and import those into scenarist. For vobid 2 and 3: import those as slide show and set time to 00.00.00,10. Recreate the pgc structure for pgc1 using these files and leave the rest of the structure as it is now. (I would not reencode since this is not worth it)
