24 backup wrong length in dvd2svcd

Hi All,

im trying to backup 24 series 1 when i load any of the discs dvd2svcd tells me that the movie length is 42 mins 16 secs although the disc has at least 4 hours..(4 episodes at 1 hr each)

i have tried to let it run through and the output mpg file does not
contain all of the 4 episodes.

i have had this prob on some backups but the output mpg was always ok althought the movie length was different from the actual movie length.

By Default DVD2SVCD picks up the longest episode. If you want to select other episodes, click on the Movie Lenth Arrow and a window will popup which will show you the chapters in this episode. In this window, at the top there's again a drop down with an arrow, you can select other episodes from here.

Keep in mind, each episode will result in one MPEG file at the end. Your best option is to put every episode on its own CD since they are already around 40 mins each.

i got it done but i ended up running it through dvd2one and pulling off the 4 seperate episodes that way , then going into dvd2svcd.

when i was trying to solve this prob before i posted i saw those episodes on the drop down of dvd2svcd, but until reading ur post i didnt understand that they were actually the 4 episodes..DOH!
