all i want for christmas.....never mind,i want a program that works just like dvdshrink with better quality(as good as ic)even if i have to wait a little while longer can this be done!i know speed means alot these days hell i remember not too long ago when you had to use several progs to get a dvd, now thats all changed but something in between dvd2one dvd shrink and ic not forgeting to mention cce would be nice. dvd shrink uses constant bitrate(i think)so can this be slowed down a bit or allow us to use 2 or 3 pass may be just to sqeeze some more quality out of it?

i want i want! give me a f*cking break, yeah i would like a program that would copy my dvd in 5 seconds with better quaility than the orginal and can be burned on gold plated dvds...
whats the point of a post like this? look at your options out there, and be thankful. Be thankful that you can copy dvds at all, be glad that great programs like dvdshrink are free.
people need to stop acting like little children always asking for a toy they can't have and be happy with what is given to you. people need to learn how to accept a gift (that is free) and not always ask for more and show more appreciation for all the hard work some programers put into these programs at the expense of thier own time and money
just my 2 cents

thanks for the pep talk but whats the point of being here if we are not improving constantly (ok to help),besides if i pay £50 for a dvd copying program i expect it to do its work and not just be thankfull i have it!!!!!
p.s i give complete respect and credit to all who produce these programs especially the free ones cos i know i couldnt do it.

We are human. Sometimes we all get a case of the 'gimme-can-I-have-I-wants'
:)
If there were not people like fusion007 with the above mentioned medical status, we would still be struggling to do things manually.
I recall a friend from down under saying: 'After a week of messing with various filters, I think I finally have the perfect SW-The Phantom Menace DiVX.'
And, on another occasion, I remembered how I complained to my PC Guru, of the slowness of my First Personal Computer, a PowerMac 6100 (@80Mhz). His answer was: You young generation are so impatient! You should see how a 256PC runs.
The 'Market" is always driven by the 'customers' demands. Any young followers will take e.g. the speed of DVD2ONE for granted, and will want more. And that's the way progress goes.

why you so hard on fusion007 cos I too want the same thing :), which was basically the features of IC/DVDShrink (including title removal) and also with the option of encoding to CCE standard with at least a 2 pass
I've wanted this for ages and requested it moons ago and in time it will come
I'm so surprised it hasn't come yet if you look at the advances of the last 6 months
it can all be done individually using different programs but it's not in one complete package but when it is 1000's will use it

what's wrong with requests?, don't most forums have some sort of a request thread anyway?. As far as I know there is only 1 free program and that's DVDShrink (tho I bet I'm wrong :) ) but not all of us choose to use that method
everything was down to speed and quality was pushed aside but I ain't fussed about speed at all unlike some cos how many backups do you realistically need to do in a day anyway?. If it takes 2-3 hours but I get the result I want I'm happy :)
in time this dream program will come, the sooner the better for me and preferably before blue-ray is in my town :D
I guess it's all down to indivdual preferences :)

thank you all! i was feeling a bit left out there for a sec, although i was some what anebriated i was making a point if not very accurately in the fact that we have programs at each end of the scale some do the job in 10secs and some in 10 hours i was shooting for a middle man,dvd shrink is an excellent prog if you combined that with ics quality you would have a cracking app!!
mrbass no offence taken the title was lame lol.
