What does mpeg2dec3.dll do?

What are the improvements of mpeg2dec3.dll over the original mpeg2dec.dll that Gordian Knot uses?

Hi-

If you have the latest GKnot (as you should), then you'll find up near the top of the GKnot generated .avs this line:

LoadPlugin("mpeg2dec3.dll")

It allows the use of VDubMod and AviSynth 2.52 and the YV12 colorspace (meaning mostly that the encoding is much faster than the older way). I could be wrong on part of that. I'm no whiz at the ins and outs of AviSynth (help Wilbert :)).
