VDub filters in AviSynth = Speed increase?

Just a short question... but does incorporating VDub filters with functions through Avisynth (like SmoothIQ) increase their speed? Cuz in theory they should since they are working in the same color space as other applied filters... unlike in VDub where they use VDubs color space through conversions... just a question tho :D ... o and hey to all people on the forum.. kinda new here :p

A filter cannot use a colorspace other than those it was designed to use (which means most of the time you'll have to put a "ConvertToxxx" in the script before the imported VirtualDub filter). So the answer to your question is no.
