Hi, I asked over at DivX Networks' forum about DivX 5.0.1's "All Frames are Interlaced" (as opposed to All Frames are Progressive, etc.) encoding method, and I was told it performs a type of deinterlacing.
Does anyone know exactly how this deinterlacing is performed, or how I could recreate this function using AVI Synth?
I know this deinterlacing method isn't present in DivX releases later than 5.0.1, but I found it very handy for some purely interlaced material I work with, so I'd greatly appreciate any help with this. Thanks.
