how to merge the subtitle with the movie ?

how to merge the dvd subtile with the movie.

i rip the dvd with smart ripper and i'd like to convert the vob to avi but how to set so that the subtitle is in the avi.

can we do it with dvd2avi or maybe other tool, tell me.......

Hi-

I'd suggest getting the subs through the Subtitles Tab of Gordian Knot. You can later add them to the .avs script that GKnot will create for you and they will be "burned" into the video. Here's a Subtitles Guide:
