Audio/Subtitle switching with DVDFab images

I'm planning to migrate from DVD->SVCD backup (DVD2SVCD-great!) to DVD->DVD backup (DVDFab?); before buying a DVD-writer, I'm experimenting with programs that create DVD images/structures on my HD, and verifying the completeness of the backup using PowerDVD (mount DVD image with Daemon Tools or "Open DVD file on HD drive").
DVDFab seems to work fine with most of my "simple" DVD, but I have this problem with some of them: on the second DVD image, containing the tail of the main title, PowerDVD enables the "Audio languages" and "Subtitles" menu options, so I can freely move from one language/subtitle stream to another (I suppose I could do the same using the commands of my standalone DVD-player, if the Video_Ts structure would be burned on a DVD-R).
The first DVD image contains menus, extras, and the first chunk of the main title; if I "navigate" to the main title from the menu, the language/subtitle options of PowerDVd are disabled (and - unfortunately - the path traversing the language/subtitle menus on the DVD image seems to have no effect).
I suppose that the difference in PowerDVD behaviour is caused by some difference in IFO attributes; so, my final question is:

How can I "unlock" the switching from one language/subtitle to another (maybe tweaking some "mysterious" flags in the IFO files with IFOedit)?

U have to remove User Prohibitions in each and every ifo of the 1st image. Load the ifo in ifoedit, press the 'Remove P-Ups' button and save.

U can remove them all when decrypting if u set the appropriate flag in dvd decrypter.

It has a reason that DVDFab doesn't touch the Prohibs on disc 1 but on disc 2.

First disc 2:
There are no menues, so you must have the possibility to change the options.

Disc 1:
Here we have alle the menues. You can switch the options in the menues.
The reason why it could be dangerous to switch audio and subtitle manual are "forced subpictires".
If you choose another audio language the menu may change the subpicture as well.

But if some more people want a software option to turn prohibs of also on first disc; no problem !

Thanks, but it was AZ who asked the original question. I just wondered about how to disable these prohibitions at the DVD Decrypter stage. There are some DVD's that don't need any shrinking or splitting, but still have those darned user prohibitions.

Open ifoedit, load each ifo and press the Remove P-Ups button. Don't forget to save afterwards.

Reply to oddyseus: I think I have set the appropriate flags when decrypting with DVD Decrypter, but this had no effect; I tried to disable flags on dvd2 image IFOs after splitting, but this also had no effect; I have read that "UOPs locks" can be defined directly in VOB file blocks; maybe this is the case (DVD: reign of fire).

Reply to DVDToolbox: I understand that deletion of UOPs constraints could sometimes bring to problems, but perhaps this option could be useful in some cases (btw: maybe you need to reset UOP restrictions not only in IFOs, but in all VOBs)
