First, I apologize because I know this has been mentioned. Yes I did look in the FAQ but with no definate answer to my specific query. I searched and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. If this is a waste of time, please link (if possible) to a thread that can answer this:

In DVD2SVCD, (fine program by the way) I wish to select NO split point no matter how big the output file is. I've messed with the bitrate tab but to no avail. I shall keep experimenting with some stuff, but no luck so far. I'm creating regular VCD and to prevent the files from being split in awkward positions, I would rather manually split them at a spot which I deem appropriate.

Thanks for the help,

Chip

If you go to the birate tab and set your CD size to 1600 (I am guessing that you are going to be using 2 CDs for the encode) then it should not split the output because it will not be above the 2 cd limit that you have in there. I am pretty sure that this will work as you can do the same thing to make a DVDr.

Thank you, I am trying an encode as we speak. Prior to your response and also prior to my initial post, I tried saying "Between 0 and 180 min use 1 CD" but suppose I failed to use a larger CD file size.

Ya, you would have to tell it to use a bigger CD size or it wont work correctly. If this works can you please post back and let us know?

Thanks
