"i,p,b-frames parameter" is of course not such an easy one to calculate! :D

I using a parameter in Xvid under this way!!!
I used a 2-pass

1-pass :
Global
Motion search precision=6-Ultrl High
Quantization type=H.263
FourCC use=XviD
VHQ mode=4-Wide Serach
Max I-frames interval=240
Min I-frames interval=1

Enable lumi masking
Use chroma motion

Maximum B-frames=2
B-frames quantizer ratio%=180
B-frames quantizer offset=100
B-frames threshold=100

DX50 B-VOP compatibility

Debug
Chroma Optimizer
Use trells R-D quantisation

2-pass :
Global
Motion search precision=6-Ultrl High
Quantization type=New Modulated HQ
FourCC use=XviD

I remain a little confused after reading your last post - however, you might want to read the newbie settings sticky (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53136) or check out snowbeach's XviD guide (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=56709) for more information on settings. Amazing what searching will find as well ;). In general it is not recommended and there is no reason to change settings between the first and second pass.
